OB/GYN

Women's Health at Every Age

An OB/GYN, or Obstetrician-Gynecologist, is a doctor who specializes in female reproductive health, pregnancy and childbirth. However, the practice of OB/GYN isn’t limited to these areas alone. OB/GYNs can also act a woman’s primary health provider, or PCP. They can screen for diseases such as breast and female reproductive cancers, diabetes and high blood pressure (also known as hypertension). They can also help women who have trouble getting pregnant, as well as those who are considered at high risk for health problems during and after pregnancy. OB/GYNs can also help women with urinary tract disorders. Some OB/GYNs work with children and adolescents, while others focus on adults and/or senior women.
Regardless of the Ob/GYN doctor you see, every doctor here at Monsey Health Center will treat you with the utmost care and professionalism that you deserve.
