Michael Ginsburg, DPM
Dr. Ginsburg served as the Medical Review Coordinator for Centers for Wound Healing, specializing in wound management and hyperbaric medicine. His responsibilities included administering performance improvement measures and reviews to over 30 centers. Prior to that, he was the “On Site” Associate Director of Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, New York for eight years, since inception, building it into one of Center for Wound Healing’s most successful centers. Dr. Ginsburg had been, since 2002, the founder and senior partner of Podiatry Associates of New York. He currently serves as a consultant to Integrated Podiatry Services, a provider of care to nursing homes in the New York Metropolitan Area. He is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry in the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds. He received his BS in Biology, graduating with honors from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York He received his Doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at Staten Island University Hospital and was chief resident in his final year of residency. He is licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey.
Danny Mergi, DPM
Dr. Mergi graduated with his medical degree from the highly competitive New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2010 and was awarded an academic scholarship from New York College of Podiatric Medicine and and Educational Foundation Scholarship from American Podiatric Medicine Association for his achievements. After graduating, Dr. Mergi completed his Residency in Pedicatric Medicine and Surgery at Englewood Hospital Medical Center and his fellowship in Wound Care at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. He currently has affiliations with the American Podiatric Medical Association and is ACLS/BLS certified.
